Figment
n A figment of one's imagination
"All games begin their life as a Figment of someone's imagination "
Here's a selection of projects we've worked on
Explore puzzles and hidden object scenes from classical ballets as you help Chloe save a struggling dance company and earn the role of Prima Ballerina.
Please note, this is a demo and not a complete game. Certain features are not available. The demo includes two playable hidden object levels and one mini-game.

Dragon Hatchery blends together the traditional match 3 and time managment genres as players hatch and raise baby dragons to restore their homeland.
Produced by Red Thumb Games with programming provided by FigmentGames. Published by GameHouse and BigFishGames.
Shelled Online! is a follow-up to the popular game Shelled!. Featuring new weapons, graphics, tank customisations and several new multiplayer game modes.
Figment Games coordinated all programming work on the project along with art integration and development of several new game features. Additional work on the back-end infrastructure was also undertaken which included master server development and configuration of debian based web and game servers, integration of the InstantAction api and requirements testing.
To quote gameasutra from their round-up of the 2005 Indie Games Conference "Shelled! (Red Thumb Games) is a 3D casual game with turtle tank combat, featuring fun graphics, easy controls, and free online play.".
Shelled by Red Thumb Games uses the Torque Game Engine. Figment Games were involved in several key areas of development from scripting to engine coding. This included but was not limited to game play logic, tank physics, dynamic terrain generation and texturing. We were also responsible for creating new artillery and particle types as well as several areas of the HUD and menu system. A project Postmortem is available in PDF format.
